BEHAVIOUR REHABILITATION
What It Is:
At Smart Dogs, we do full behavioral assessments for both family dogs and shelter or rescue dogs.

We adhere to LIMA (Least Intrusive Minimally Aversive) techniques that require trainers and behaviour consultants to utilize specific techniques that are more likely to achieve training or a behaviour change objective with minimal risk of producing adverse side effects.
We work with dogs who struggle with fear, anxiety, aggression, possession and reactivity, specializing in chihuahuas and bully breeds.

How To Prepare:

Bring your dog hungry (improves treat motivation)

Make a detailed list of questions for your trainer, past experiences that concern you, goals and achievements for your pet

Leave pet in vehicle when first arriving to our facility
What To Bring:
-
3-4 different treats your dog likes (size of kernel of corn)

Collar and leash (please no choke, prongs, shock, or e-collars)

Toys, blankets or other comfort items (for boarding only)
